Paraguay's cigarette warnings 

In 2009, Paraguay developed picture based warnings for  cigarette packages. The regulations requiring four warnings were announced in July, 2009.

From April 7, 2010, pictorial warnings must cover the lower 50% of the package front and the lower 40% of the package back.

From April 7, 2011, pictorial warnings will be required to cover the bottom 50% of the package front and back.

From April 7, 2012, pictorial warnings will be required to cover the top 60% of the package front and back.
