Nepal's tobacco warnings
On
May 31, 2011, Nepal passed tobacco control legislation
which included requirements that warnings cover 75% of
cigarette packages.
Following a petition filed by the Forum for Protection
of Consumer Rights and Nepal Cancer Relief Society,
The
Supreme Court issued an Interim order to suppliers to
not important products which do not conform with the
warning requirements.
